In North America there is a separate company to which all Masters of Wine automatically also belong, the Institute of Masters of Wine (North America) Limited. This is a not-for-profit educational company and, as such, may attract tax deductible donations from United States companies and individuals, using the money to fund its wine education activities in the region.
