Biography

Following a University degree in English Literature, Tim cut his teeth in the wine trade with Oddbins during the early 1990's, lived and worked in Spain for two years in the mid 90's before moving back to the UK and returning to Oddbins in 1997 then to Australian specialist importer Cachet Wines in 2002 and then to Les Caves de Pyrène in 2007 as National Sales Manager and Australian Buyer.

In 2009 Tim set up his own company, Winetec Ltd and in 2010 James Busby Travel.

Tim became an MW in 2008, winning the Robert Mondavi Award for Best Overall Theory Papers. Tim's MW Dissertation was entitled "A Survey of the UK Wine Trade to determine current attitudes to Australian Wine".
