Education and Examination Board (EEB)
The EEB is responsible for upholding the integrity and standards of the Institute's education and examination processes, which it conducts via the Education Committee and Examination Board. It provides a conduit for the communication of Council policy and is accountable to Council for the conduct of the annual education and examination programmes.
Education Committee
The Education Committee is responsible for the conduct of the annual education programme around the world.
Examination Board
The Examination Board is responsible for the annual Masters of Wine Examination which is held concurrently in London (UK), Napa (USA) and Sydney (Australia), usually during the month of June.
Events Committee
The Events Committee plans the Institute's global programme of annual events, which include tastings, seminars, master classes and debates. There are three separate branches to the committee which cover Europe, North America and Australasia respectively.
Symposium Committee
The Symposium Committee is responsible for planning and staging the Institute's international symposium which is held every four years. The Institute's next symposium will be staged in 2014.
