The Executive Office, headquartered in London, manages all day to day operations of the Institute and ensures that Council's strategic vision is enacted. Its work includes administering the annual education and examination programmes and supporting the organisation and delivery of the Institute's annual events, which include tastings, master classes, debates, visits to wine producing regions and, every four years, an international symposium.
