AWRI Tasting - Evaluation of winemaking treatments in Australian Shiraz

This tasting will showcase how current winemaking practices can influence final wine style. Fifteen different wines have been made from the same batch of Shiraz grapes using a range of different harvest dates and winemaking techniques. Explore and compare the stylistic and compositional differences of Australian Shiraz when one variable is changed at a time – this is the first time this seminar has been held outside Australia.
It is a two hour seminar including tasting 15 wines and will be presented by Con Simos, Group Manager at the AWRI.
