The Annual Claret tasting showcases over one hundred Grands Crus or their equivalents, including the First Growths, of the major Bordeaux appellations and is an event of international importance. It attracts not only Masters of Wine and Institute students but also members of the wine trade and collectors. It is also a unique opportunity to examine the evolution of these great wines in a comparative tasting.
Held on the morning of the Masters of Wine inauguration ceremony, this jewel in the crown of the Institute's tastings programme takes place in the historic surroundings of Vintners' Hall in the City of London.
