Information Session: Shanghai

As part of its annual calendar of outreach events, the Institute organises a variety of workshops and introductory classes to interested participants. The focus at these events is to introduce both its study programme and its examination by showcasing the MW approach to wine tasting and theory topics in a practical and relevant way.

Fongyee Walker MW, Mark Pygott MW and Emma Jenkins MW will be leading the programme. They will explain the MW approach to the examination syllabus with a special focus on the writing and tasting skills required to become a Master of Wine. The class will include a tastings of different wines to help to explain the MW approach to tasting. All sessions will be conducted in English. 

Date: 17 April 2018

Open to: Interested professionals who are highly motivated in relation to the wine world and the culture of wine. All classes will be given in English. Attendees wishing to be considered for entry to the Institute’s Study Programme must meet the Institute’s entrance requirements – see here for more information. Applications for the Study Programme open on 1 June 2018.
