Institute Open Day, London

16 May 2011 , 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Members of the wine trade will have the opportunity to learn more about the industry’s most highly regarded qualification at the Institute’s annual open day in London.

The event provides an in depth introduction to the Institute’s study programme, which prepares candidates for the annual Master of Wine Examination. More than 250 students from 28 different countries are currently enrolled in the programme. Applications for the 2011/12 programme will open in July this year.

The master class is aimed at wine trade professionals who may be interested in entering the study programme and will be introduced by Lynne Sherriff MW, Chairman of the Institute, and members of the Institute’s executive office. It includes an introduction to the Institute and the study programme, a six wine blind tasting to illustrate the Master of Wine approach to tasting, a discussion of topical issues, debate and the opportunity to discuss professional development with Masters of Wine.

Registration costs £105 and includes all materials for the day and a light lunch. Click here to register. Only 45 places are available so early booking is recommended.

The venue for the open day is:

Grange White Hall Hotel, 2-5 Montague St., London, WC1B 5BU
