la redonda.jpgThe programme at the 9th International Symposium in Logroño will include a full series of debates, talks, tastings, and lunches during the day. Speakers are being chosen for their stature in the wine world, whether as winemakers, chief executives of global businesses, marketers, viticulturists, journalists, consultants, or scientists.
Lunches and dinners will be sponsored, giving supporters of the Symposium an opportunity to serve their wines to an engaged and knowledgeable crowd of international influencers.
More than 200 different wines were served over the course of the 2014 Symposium at tastings, lunches, and dinners.  The three evenings saw dinners held in wineries in the Tuscan countryside around Florence, and in historic venues within the city including the papal Palazzo Corsini.
In Bordeaux in 2010 delegates were treated to a similar menu of special and exclusive sponsored events: a gala dinner at Château Pontet-Canet; dinner and fireworks on the banks of the Garonne; and a drinks receptions and a brunch on board boats in the river.
At every Symposium the host city and sponsors vie to provide the most unforgettable experiences for delegates.  Logroño will be no exception.
“I’ve been attending and speaking at conferences for nearly 20 years, and the 2014 Symposium was truly unique amongst them in the breadth and depth of the world’s wine industry represented, and the seniority of the people attending and presenting.” -  Peter Godden, Australian Wine Research Institute
