Michael Walton 

Michael specialises in helping people understand how consumers and the market are changing business needs.

He brings to his presentations over 30 years of working with clients in grocery, liquor, media and finance. He has worked with Accolade, Treasury, SAB Brewing, Diageo, Aldi, McDonalds, Hertz, Macquarie Bank, Nestle and multiple liquor retailers and wine companies.

Michael lectures to Masters Students in Leadership, People Management and Technology Marketing at the University of Technology Sydney. He is also Head of Faculty for the newly created Australian Food & Grocery Council endorsed Australian Grocery Academy.

Michael loves the intersection of data and stories – technology and people, brands and choice, retail execution and growth. He is known for his ability to make complex stories simple, and to make dry data fun.

When not running training programmes Michael speaks at multiple events around the world.
