IMW Botrytis Seminar

9 May 2016 , 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM  | London

From Bordeaux, Fabrice Dubourdieu will be presenting some new research into how to maximise the flavour potential of botrytis-affected grapes and will also discuss new marketing initiatives; accompanied, of course, by some Barsac and Sauternes.  From Tokaji, we will be joined by István Turóczi, General Manager of Royal Tokaji, the company that led the region’s recent renaissance.  And from Germany, we are pleased to welcome Rowald Hepp, CEO of Schloss Vollrads, one of the country’s most famous wine estates and one of the few in the Rheingau to have maintained its focus on sweeter wine styles alongside the currently fashionable drier wines.

With at least a dozen wines to taste and contributions from all three participants, the event promises an unusually detailed insight into these most distinctive and delicious of wines.
