Simon Thorpe MW is to take up the post of Managing Director of Negociants UK later this month.
The move will see Simon leave his position as Vice President Premium Wines & Wine Development at Constellation Europe and assume overall responsibility at Negociants UK on 14 December.
Speaking to The Drinks Business, Simon cited the “breadth and excellence of the portfolio of wineries and brands” as reasons for joining the family-owned firm.
“It is a business that represents wineries which encapsulate all that is great about the Australian wine industry,” he said.
Negociants’ International Director Brenton Fry said the appointment would “add increased depth and vision to our sales and marketing team and will enable us to maximise our portfolio across all channels.”
