Symposia

Institute of Masters of Wine International Symposia

Every four years we hold an international symposium. Our aim is to provide an independent forum to bring together the leading decision makers and opinion formers in the global wine community to discuss the topical issues that confront us today, as well as those that may arise in the future. Our symposia feature presentations, formal debates  and discussion panels featuring renowned speakers, as well as outstanding wine tastings and social events.

The 2010 Symposium in Bordeaux

Our next symposium, Forging Links, is taking place in the historic wine capital of Bordeaux, France, from 24 to 27 June 2010.

With 300 delegates expected to attend, Forging Links will be the largest symposium staged by the Institute. It is also the Institute's first symposium to be held in France, thanks to the generous support of the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB), the principal supporter of the event.

Click here for further information on the Forging Links programme or contact Siobhan Turner, the Institute's Executive Director, to register your interest in attending.
