DC Flynt MW becomes a Supporter of the Institute
We are very pleased to welcome MACH Flynt, Inc./DC Flynt MW Selections of Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a Supporter of the Institute of Masters of Wine.
DC Flynt MW, who is the founder and CEO/President of MACH Flynt, Inc./DC Flynt MW Selections, passed the Master of Wine Exam in 1998 and became the 16th American MW. DC said:
“Members of the Institute of Masters of Wine hold a fortunate vantage point from which we view the world of wine. Once I joined the Institute in 1998, I quickly came to realize that no one is truly a Master of Wine. I suspect that this is a belief held by many other MW’s as well, but what we do have is the unique opportunity to interact with exceptional men and women, who truly are masters of their trade and their craft. They are the best and the brightest of vignerons, vintners, vineyard and cellar workers, brand builders, importers, shippers, exporters, educators, retailers, regional experts, innovators, visionaries and pioneers. It is our responsibility, indeed our honoured franchise to maintain and foster the highest level of education, professionalism, and integrity within the wine trade. In my opinion, no organization does so fine a job in this endeavour as the Institute of Masters of Wine. I am proud to be a Member and MACH Flynt Inc. is delighted to play a small role as a Supporter of the Institute.”

Penny Richards, Executive Director of the Institute of Masters of Wine, said:
“We are delighted and touched that DC has chosen to demonstrate his commitment to the Institute in such a personal way. His support over the years as mentor and friend to many students and future Masters of Wine has been invaluable. DC is as famous for his legendary hospitality – and love of good wine and food – as for his ability to guide and teach, and this generosity of spirit is exemplified in this new relationship. We are very proud to have his support.”
DC is married to Jane A’Dair Singletary Flynt. Jane and DC have been married for 30 years and have four children: Miller McDaniel Flynt, A’Dair Ragan Flynt, Campbell Craig Flynt, and Harrison David Flynt, who collectively represent the MACH in MACH Flynt.
