ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY
New Masters of Wine are announced twice a year, in February/March and in August/September. The new crop for that year is then officially welcomed to the IMW membership at the annual awards ceremony in November. The occasion, which takes place at Vintners’ Hall, London, celebrates the inauguration of the new MWs and recognises individual excellence in areas of the MW exam. Masters of Wine from around the globe fly into London for the occasion to welcome the new ‘MW vintage’.
