American-born Anne Tupker-Harris became a Master of Wine in 1997, winning the Sainsbury Prize for her dissertation on ?Cool Climate Winemaking? as well as the Madame Bollinger Award for excellence in wine tasting. She has been the proprietor of Bouquet Wines in London since 1990. In addition, she gives lectures and tutored tastings on various wine topics, judges at international wine competitions, takes small groups on visits to wine regions and writes wine recommendations for House & Garden Magazine. She has served on the Education Committee and the Events Committee of the Institute of Masters of Wine. Restaurant consultancy has included work for Sally Clarke and serving on the Wine Working Group at the Hurlingham Club in London. She has also been the guest wine lecturer on international cruises, has travelled widely to European and New World wine-producing regions. In her spare time she helps plan fund-raising events for American alumnae/i groups in London and the rest of the UK.
