After graduating from Sussex University with a 2.1 in Contemporary History and Politics, Beth visited vineyards in New Zealand, which ultimately led to her joining Majestic's management training scheme in 2010.

Following a year working for an independent retailer in Sydney, Australia, Beth re-joined Majestic in 2013 and became the company's first 'non-wine buyer' in 2016 where she was responsible for developing a range of craft beers and spirits. Soon after she moved into wine buying, and by 2021 was in charge of buying Bordeaux, USA, Rhone, Regional France, Australia, New Zealand and Eastern Europe. During her tenure the Majestic buying team won 'Buying Team of the Year' three times, and at the Decanter Retailer Awards were awarded the prize for Specialist Retailer of the Year for New Zealand and USA, as well as runner-up for Australia & Regional France.

As of September 2021, Beth is working as a buyer for Lay & Wheeler fine wine merchants, responsible for Bordeaux, Spain & Portugal, Australia & New Zealand, and the Americas.

Beth embarked on her MW study programme journey in 2016 after completing the WSET Diploma, where she received the Derouet Jameson scholarship. She became a MW in February 2020.

In September 2021 Beth was awarded 'Outstanding Young Person of the Year' by the Vintners' Company.
