Having graduated with an honours degree in agricultural economics from Reading University, Clive worked in a number of farming positions in Britain. After working on an English vineyard in the late 1980’s Clive decided that wine would be his passion and career. He worked for a number of UK wine retailers and began studying with the WSET. Having passed the Master of Wine exam in 1999 Clive created Press Wine Services. The company is a retail business based in Canterbury which offers not only wines but a range of services including wine education, tasting and corporate events. In 1999 he joined Corkk, an English Wine Specialist as buyer. The business won the Decanter English Wine Specialist in 2023 and offers a wide range of English Wines in its two branches.
