After graduating from Newcastle University and a years work experience in Burgundy and with Moet-Hennessy in Champagne and Cognac I joined Berry Bros & Rudd in 1988 as a salesman before being appointed Buying Director in 1993. In 2005 I set up David Roberts Domaines acting as a specialist private client wine merchant which merged with Goedhuis & Co in 2010 where I am Buying Director, specialising in the purchasing of our Burgundy and Bordeaux range en primeur.
