Israel MW Trip

22 - 26 April 2018 , 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM  | Israel

We are delighted to be able to offer a Master of Wine trip to Israel – the first – we think – in the Institute’s history. It is available for 12 Masters of Wine, from 22 April–26 April 2018.

Israel’s wine industry has bloomed over the last decade, experiencing a real renaissance in the winemaking region. This MW tour will give you the chance to experience the new quality and variety of Israel’s wines, experience the unique landscape from which Israel’s wines have emerged and to learn about the technology and research that Israel's winemakers are utilizing.

It is being organised by Eran Pick MW, Israel’s first MW, and is being sponsored by the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute (IEICI). All accommodation, meals and internal travel will be provided. Masters of Wine will need to arrive in Ben Gurion Airport by lunchtime on 22 April 2018.

The trip will feature:
Tastings of Israel’s wines from Israel's diverse wine regions.
Opportunities to meet Israel’s new wave of internationally trained winemakers and discover Israel’s technological advancements in viticulture
A chance to tour Israeli wine regions and industry
