Members will need to arrange their own travel to/from Verona airport however expenses while on the ground (Transfers, meals and accommodation) will be covered by the hosts. Included in the programme are side events available exclusively to Masters of Wine and the invited international press.

This is not an opportunity to miss. To apply please complete the below form by Sunday 30th June*. There is no fee to attend however places are strictly limited and will be allocated through a lottery process. This opportunity is only available to Masters of Wine.

Alto Adige Supporter Trip - Proposed Itinerary

Member can apply for this trip here

*This is a Supporter trip that is being hosted by Alto Adige and coincides with their Wine Summit. This is not classed as an official IMW trip therefore MWs will not be required to pay an administration fee or contribute to the trip report. However places will still be issued via a lottery process.

Trip selection process

Once the ballot closes, all the names are randomised and then assigned a random number, from an online number generator. This then gives us a list in numerical order. For example, a trip has 20 places and 60 Members have applied. After the names have been randomised and a random number has been generated for each Member, the names from 1 to 20 have a place on the trip. The names from 21 to 60 make up the waiting list.
