Reh Kendermann Bursary Winners Announced

20 Apr 12

The Institute of Masters of Wine and Reh Kendermann GmbH are delighted to announce that Thomas Curtius and Alexandra Harper are the recipients of this year’s prestigious Reh Kendermann Bursaries.

The bursaries, open to first and second year students in the Institute’s study programme, consist of two trips to Germany where the recipients visit Reh Kendermann GmbH, one of Germany’s most important wineries and ambassador for German wine, as well as other producers, either of the successful applicant’s own choice or selected by Reh Kendermann if the applicant prefers.

Alexandra and Thomas secured their bursaries on the strength of their essays addressing the question of whether Brazil the best hope for future growth for German wine in the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries after China.
