London Bordeaux tasting (2021 vintage)

We are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the annual London Bordeaux tasting on 11 November 2025, where we will review the 2021 vintage. This year will also feature a first-of-its-kind masterclass format, included in the cost of your ticket.

This walk-around tasting is a rare opportunity to review one vintage of Bordeaux four years after bottling and compare wines of the highest quality across all Bordeaux’s top appellations.

Session 1: 9:00-11:15
Session 2: 11:30-13:45

In addtion, please join us for a rare masterclass showcasing the 2022 second wines of Bordeaux’s Grands Crus Classés. Over the past three decades, Bordeaux’s second wines have seen remarkable improvements in both quality and consistency, driven in part by selecting only the finest barrels for the Grand Vin, making second wines an exceptional value. This masterclass will feature wines from all appellations covered by the 1855 classification, presented alongside insights from some of Bordeaux’s most influential figures. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to taste these exceptional wines side by side and hear how the Châteaux themselves view and value them. The tasting will include standout wines such as Les Allées de Cantemerle, Chevalier de Lascombes, La Réserve de Léoville Barton, Amiral de Beychevelle, and Castelnau de Suduiraut.

Masterclass attendance is free for those at the IMW Bordeaux 2021 tasting, but spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
