COP26: What happened and what was the response of the global wine trade?

This first webinar in the second series of IMW sustainability webinars will provide an update on the latest climate change information.

COP26 was billed as “the world’s last chance to get runaway climate change under control”. With COP27 approaching, we will review the commitments that came out of last year’s meeting. For countries to deliver on these, there is a need to transition out of fossil fuels, curtail deforestation, speed up the switch to electric vehicles and encourage investment in renewables. What does this mean for the global wine trade and what actions should wine companies be taking?
