The Awards ceremony is the IMWs most anticipated celebration in the IMW calendar. We hope to welcome you to the event this year as we welcome the ‘2020 vintage’ of Masters of Wine. The health and safety of all is our top priority and given the current global COVID-19 crisis the final details for this event, which will need to be modified, are not yet available. The IMW team is monitoring the government guidelines closely and working towards a plan for the occasion. For now, please save the date in your calendar and you will be notified as soon possible with further details.

Awards

This awards ceremony will welcome the ‘2020 vintage’ of Masters of Wine and celebrate the 50th and 60th anniversaries of existing MWs. During this ceremony the Institute of Masters of Wine also presents prizes to individual new MWs who have shone in particular parts of the IMW’s examination.

Photography and recording

As an attendee at this event, you authorise and grant the IMW the right to:

• record you (picture and voice) in photographs and on film for audio and visual production
• create recordings into a photo gallery and / or film
• use your name and voice for the recording
• screen the recording online, including on social media

The IMW will own all copyright to any photography or filming used and no monies will be given to delegates or speakers. Any reasonable request not to use or to stop using a particular film or photograph will be considered. Such requests should be made in writing to skirkpatrick@mastersofwine.org.
