International Economic Forum with Elizabeth Gabay MW, Caroline Gilby MW and Rose Murray Brown MW

In July Elizabeth Gabay MW, Caroline Gilby MW and Rose Murray Brown MW presented at the International Economic Forum (IEF), which was held virtually and hosted by OenoCo International from Romania.
The focus of the forum was to address a variety of issues in the wine sector relating to Central and Eastern Europe and bring together producers, importers-exporters, sommeliers, wine educators and policy makers providing a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest developments in the wine industry in Central and Eastern Europe.
Caroline spoke on ‘The role of native grapes in building a marketing narrative’, Elizabeth on ‘Climate change in Szekszard, southern Hungary’ and Rose on ‘Engaging with the wine consumer on a limited budget’ with results from a recent UK consumer survey on Central and Eastern European wines.
