Jasper Morris MW receives André Simon Drink Book Award

At the André Simon Food & Drink Book Awards 2021 virtual ceremony, Jasper Morris MW received the Drink Award for his book Inside Burgundy: The vineyards, the wine and the people (second edition). Jasper is a previous André Simon winner, with the first edition of Inside Burgundy receiving an award in 2010.
Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis MW‘s book The Wines of Santorini was revealed in the André Simon Drink Book Awards longlist.
Other Masters of Wine involved in the awards include Rose Murray Brown MW as drinks assessor, and David Gleave MW and Sarah Jane Evans MW as trustees.
Also at the ceremony, MW student Amanda Barnes was announced as the winner of the John Avery Award for her book The South American Wine Guide.
