Lynne Coyle MW’s wine Rós receives a Harpers Design Award for its label

Lynne Coyle MW’s wine Rós has received a Harpers Design Award for its label. Rós is Lynne’s first personal winemaking project and is a collaboration with long-time friend Alicia Eyaralar, winemaker and owner of Bodegas Tandem in Navarra. The vineyards are located in the Yerri Valley, Navarra, close to the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean. Building on the Celtic name Rós, which translates from Gaelic into rose, and a nod to her Scottish roots, Lynne wanted to create a label with a Charles Rennie Mackintosh / Arts and Crafts vibe. Lynne’s son Edward, a graduate of the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, designed the label and the creative threads were executed by graphic designer Elizabeth Foley.
