John Hoskins MW speaks to Douglas Blyde from the Drinks Business about the importance of offering genuine value, the unwelcome arrival of early-onset hangovers and the arguable irrelevance of sommeliers.

John was the first Master of Wine in the restaurant industry when he passed the MW exam in 1994, and now owns a hotel-restaurant, the Old Bridge at Huntingdon, UK, which has an on-site wine shop.
