Born and raised in New Zealand. Qualified as a hospital pharmacist. Worked in London before starting Fine Wines of New Zealand in 1985 in London. I spend many evenings talking to wine groups both corporate and society on the wines of New Zealand. I do a lot of wine judging including International Wine & Spirit Competition, was guest overseas judge 1996 Air New Zealand Wine Competition and Chairman of Judges UK Vineyards Association 1995-1997. Have conducted wine tasting for Sotheby’s Wine School and Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Was awarded the MNZM by HM the Queen for services to the New Zealand wine industry in 1997. A keen rambler and leader with Northwest London Ramblers. Currently, Chair of Governors at two Primary Schools in North London. Vice Chair of Trustees of the local Community Centre. Chair of a parish based outreach charity.
