English and Welsh wine tastings

Description

The Institute of Masters of Wine invites all MWs to two special tastings in London this September, offering the chance to explore a broad range of English and Welsh wines from producers not featured on the MW England Trip. MW students are also welcome to attend the Best of the Rest tasting taking place at IMW HQ.

Urban Wineries Tasting
Date: Tuesday 2 September 2025
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: London Cru, 21-27 Seagrave Road, London SW6 1RP
Overview: A focused tasting of wines from urban producers across the UK, highlighting innovation and quality in city-based winemaking.

Best of the Rest Tasting
Date: Saturday 6 September 2025
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: IMW Offices, 6 Riverlight Quay, Kirtling Street, Nine Elms, London SW11 8EA
Overview: A tasting of wines from regions not included on the MW England Trip, such as Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Cornwall, Wiltshire, and Wales.

Tickets: £20 per tasting for Masters of Wine, £25 for MW students attending the Best of the Rest tasting
Eligibility: Open to all Masters of Wine
