Awards ceremony 2026

Description

The ceremony celebrates the 2026 vintage of MWs, and any MWs celebrating a milestone anniversary.

The event is only open to new Masters and current MWs. The ceremony will be recorded for anyone who is unable to attend in person. While it is free to attend, venue capacity restrictions prevent us from accommodating everyone. For this reason, registrations are mandatory.

The Bordeaux tasting (2022 vintage) will take place in the morning at Vintners’ Hall. Tickets for the tasting can be purchased here.

Awards ceremony schedule:
17:30 Annual reception start (canapés and Bollinger Special Cuvée Champagne NV served in the drawing room)
18:30 Awards ceremony start (Livery Hall)
19:30 Drinks reception resumes (Drawing room)
20:45 Evening end

Dress code:
Cocktail attire is preffered for the evening. However, we understand that many members will be coming direct from work or the Bordeaux tasting in which case smart business attire is also accepted.

How to register:
All Masters of Wine are eligible to attend the annual awards ceremony at no cost. However, capacity is strictly limited, and attendance will be granted on a first-register basis. MWs may register ONE ticket – any duplicate orders will be deleted. MWs receiving awards do not need to re-register if you have already confirmed your attendance and guests with the IMW office. Select the ‘Add to basket’ button at the top of the page to register. If you have any dietary or venue requirements (e.g. lift access), please disclose this during registration.
