SPAIN MW TRIP
2 – 6 December 2025
We are pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the upcoming MW trip to Spain, to visit the territories which are supposed to be the origin of the Garnacha grape variety: Aragón, Navarra and Eastern Rioja. The trip is taking place 2-6 December 2025.
The trip begins and ends in Madrid, where we will take high speed train to Zaragoza. We will be visiting Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja and Valdejalón in Aragón, Rioja Oriental and Navarra.
This trip will give participants an exciting opportunity to learn about the styles and stories about top Garnacha wines from this part of Spain, as well as to visit regions with particular beauty and a very long history.
The trip is supported by the Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organisation (OIVE). It is based upon a programme developed by Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW in cooperation with MW residents in Spain.

MWs will be responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Madrid Atocha train station, where the trip starts and ends.
