Viña Leyda technical seminar and tasting

Viña Leyda is the most awarded coastal winery in Chile.

The seminar and tasting will be hosted by Tim Atkin MW, Leyda Winemaker Viviana Navarrete, Leyda Viticulturist Tomás Rivera.

The technical seminar will introduce the Leyda Valley DO and cover Viña Leyda’s viticultural and winemaking philosophy. The focus will then be on the relevance of clones when it comes to high quality wines and complexity.

The discussion will be followed by a comparative tasting of clonal components of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir and then a vertical of Viña Leyda Pinot Noir Lot 21.

Guests will also get the opportunity to have the ‘first taste’ of Leyda’s eagerly-anticipated new premium fine wine. Afterwards a number of wines from the Coastal Vineyards range will be available to taste alongside a canapé lunch.
