1981 Graduated from Oxford Polytechnic with BA (Hons) in Business Studies. 1982 Started in wine trade with Rutland Vintners (regional wholesalers) as a van driver! Grew up in the then hugely impressive wine division of IDV (UK) Ltd. Moved on in time to run Geoffrey Roberts Agencies; later became a director at Menzendorff & Co. Ltd. Today owns and runs the wine consultancy business First Glass Wine Services Ltd., which has been progressing since 2009!.
