In passing the MW IN 1998, I became the first medical doctor to achieve the credential. In the interim, I’ve been very active in the IMW as a mentor (with many mentees passing), examiner, IMWNA board member, course educator, and member of the trips committee. I have travelled around the world of wine extensively with friends and colleagues these past couple of decades. Now retired, I have recently begun a YouTube channel, Dr. Pat Farrell Master of Wine, that celebrates wine, food, cooking, health and travel. A website and associated educational program are planned for later 2021. I live in Huntington Beach, California with the love of my life, Bernadette.
