Rob is an independent wine expert with businesses in China and Australia. He was one of the first from Australia to become a Master of Wine and has a large media footprint in Australia and China. He has been immersed in every aspect of the wine industry for more than 30 years in brand development and an export sales executive, reviewer, author, consultant, presenter, judge, educator and entertainer. He is frequently found speaking at conferences hosted by media organisations or trade groups in China and Australia speaking on the wine business, consumer behaviour, brand development and the culture of wine. He has been called on over 100 times as a wine show judge by national and international competitions and uses this knowledge in his wine quality consulting, corporate entertainment and wine reviews. He is the author of 11 books including 'Australian Wine Vintages' book and app as well as 'A Good Nose And Great Legs: The Art Of Wine From The Vine To The Table. 'His first Mandarin book 'Understanding Wine and Wine tasting' was published in 2019. Through all his work, he aims to turn the complex science of wine into simple-to-grasp concepts. He educates and entertains with an affable, raconteur style that makes people laugh.
