Rob MacCulloch's first experience in the wine industry was as an apprentice with Oddbins. Subsequently, he worked at a winery in New Zealand, then in the wine distribution trade in the UK for Hatch Mansfield, Bibendum Wines and Domaine Direct. He then entered wine production full-time after graduating with Distinction in Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University, New Zealand. With winemaking experience in areas such as Australia's Margaret River, Germany's Mosel Valley, and New Zealand's Hawke's Bay, he has an extensive range of practical winemaking experience from working in traditional family-run small estates, bulk wine co-operatives, and ultra-premium wineries. After working as Client Winemaker at a large custom crush winery in Hawke's Bay, he returned to England to take up the position of Head Winemaker at Hattingley Valley Wines.
