Explore the quality and diversity of Australian and New Zealand wine in this exciting collaboration between Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers.

The Aussies and Kiwis are good mates, with lots in common. Fine wine, great food, stunning scenery, the cool Southern Ocean and also our cool Antipodean attitude.

Our wines are an expression of our distinctive terroirs and the vibrant communities that craft them. Perfecting traditional techniques and inventing our own ways of doing things, we push the boundaries in the pursuit of the most diverse, thrilling wines in the world

The event will feature more than 400 wines from 70 wineries across Australia and New Zealand.

Meet winemakers and winery owners – emerging stars and big names

From family-owned wineries passed down through generations to our trailblazing disruptors who push the boundaries day after day. Hear from Australia’s Turkey Flat fourth generation owner, Christie Schulz, about caring for some of the world’s oldest Shiraz wines, and find out why Andrew Donalson, founder of Akitu, only makes Pinot Noir in New Zealand’s Central Otago.

Get up to date with the latest vintages from iconic producers

Wineries include Château Tanunda, Langmeil Winery, Penfolds, Shaw + Smith, Wakefield Wines and Wirra Wirra from Australia, and Astrolabe Wines, Babich Wines, Kim Crawford, Saint Clair Family Estate, Te Mata Estate and Villa Maria from New Zealand. There will also be 140 exciting new wines from wineries looking for distribution in Sweden and Denmark.

Discover alternative grape varieties and new wave styles

If you think Australia is all about Shiraz and New Zealand about Sauvignon Blanc, then think again. Explore Albariño, Grenache, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Tempranillo and many more.

Try minimal intervention wines, natural wines and organic wines

Meet pioneers of minimal intervention and try a selection of lo-fi and natural wines. Don’t miss Patrick Sullivan’s small-batch, organic wines from Australia’s Gippsland. Patrick, who’ll be pouring his wines, is famous in the wine world for his alternative blends, rule-breaking winemaking and natural wines. Also explore wines made by organic, biodynamic and sustainable champions.

In both cities, Emma Symington MW will be presenting masterclasses with two winemakers.
