Santa Rita Estates
Santa Rita Estates (SRE), comprises two key wine brands from Chile: Santa Rita and Carmen, and Doña Paula from Argentina.
Established in 1850, Carmen is the oldest yet one of the most innovative wineries in Chile. Winemaker Emily Faulconer is one of the rising stars of the wine world having worked at some of the top wineries in Chile as well as doing stints in California, New Zealand and Bordeaux.
Santa Rita is an international brand, enjoying success in key markets across the globe as well as being one of the best-selling brands in Chile.
Sebastian Labbé, head winemaker of the ultra-premium brands including the world-renowned Casa Real, is held in high regard amongst his peers and is an integral part of our $US25 million WiSe vineyard regeneration scheme.
On the other side of the Andes, Doña Paula is headed up by winemaker Marcos Fernandez, who are reaping the rewards to their hard work, dedication and vision by scooping up many awards in the 2019 wine competitions, including Malbec Trophy in the International Wine Challenge.
Each of the brands within the Santa Rita Estates portfolio very much has its own unique identity and wine style. Sustainability is top of the agenda in every part of the winemaking process, from the vineyards to the final distribution and Santa Rita Estates have a fully integrated environmental and commercial sustainability programme in place.
