Description
Discover Switzerland with IMW supporter, Swiss Wine. This guided tasting of the country’s indigenous grape varieties will be led by regional expert Stefan Neumann MS and Sarah Abbott MW, the champion of less familiar terroirs. As almost all Swiss wine is consumed in Switzerland, this is a rare opportunity to learn about the country’s alpine terroirs and the many native varieties which account for over one-third of Swiss vineyards. Guests will sample nine wines made from Chasselas, Petite Arvine, Amigne, Cornalin, Gamaret, Plant Robert and more. Anouck Dann (representing Les Celliers de Vétroz) will also be in attendance to introduce the final wine.
